How to find courses in Academy Online using the Find Courses Menu or from page links.

Academy Online Courses

All courses in Academy Online are set up in Course Containers which can be searched for in a number of different ways.
Note: Course Container is the term used in Academy Online to refer to the page where information about a course and links to its content are held.

Finding a Course Using the ‘Find Courses’ Menu

To search for a course using ‘Find Courses’:

1. Login to Academy Online (refer to ‘Logging Into and Out of Academy Online’ guide).
2. From any Academy Online page, click on the Search Field on the top right corner 
   and type keywords to search for a course:
    
3. To do a generic search, type the name (or part of the name) of the course
   you are looking for into the Keyword Search box and click the Search button. 
   
4. To be more specific with your searches, for example, to search for e-learning courses only, Select ‘E-Learning’ in the ‘Type’ filter. The sytem will filter as soon as you click the check box and give the result
    
5. A further filter can be done via course category. For example, selecting the 'Commercial' category returns the following results:
